Description
The 2S1 Gvozdika served with the NVA of the GDR as a frontline self-propelled howitzer in Eastern Bloc service. This highly mobile Soviet-designed 122 mm artillery system features amphibious capability, NBC protection and infrared night vision, making it ideal for Warsaw Pact mechanized formations. Based on the MT-LB chassis, it is equipped with a 2A18/D-30 style howitzer and operated by a crew of four. This unpainted miniature in 1:160 N-Scale (also compatible with N-Gauge layouts) faithfully represents the Cold War configuration used by the National People’s Army of the GDR. Perfect for model railway displays and military model collections focused on the Eastern Bloc.
