This 1:160 N Scale model represents the Iveco Magirus 110‑17 fire engine, a rugged German-built firefighting truck introduced in the early 1980s. Used widely by German fire brigades, it offered a powerful Deutz air-cooled diesel engine (~168 hp), 4×4 all-wheel drive with gear reduction and differential lock, and high-load capacity up to around 11.8 t. Renowned for its versatility, it served in both urban and rural firefighting operations, as well as industrial and civil defense roles during the Cold War era in East and West Germany.
