Description
This 1:160 N Scale model represents the Mercedes‑Benz NG TLF 16‑25 fire engine, a widespread German tanklöschfahrzeug (TLF) developed in the late 1970s. Built on the Mercedes-Benz NG series chassis (produced 1973–1988), it served across municipal and industrial fire brigades with a crew of up to six. Designed for high-capacity firefighting, it featured a roof-mounted monitor and a water tank typically around 2500 L, supported by a centrifugal pump with up to 1600 L/min flow. Known for reliability and versatility, the NG TLF 16‑25 remained in service throughout the Cold War era in both East and West Germany.
