This 1:160 N Scale model represents the Mercedes‑Benz T2 814D in the LF 8 fire engine configuration. Commonly used by municipal and volunteer fire brigades in Germany from the late 1970s into the 1980s, the T2 814D LF 8 featured a compact two-axle chassis and a 8‑person crew cab. It was typically equipped with a water pump and a tank capacity of around 1,600 litres. Known for manoeuvrability, reliability and ease of service, this LF 8 variant became a staple in Cold War-era German firefighting operations.
