Description
The GSP‑55 was an amphibious self‑propelled ferry widely deployed by Warsaw Pact forces, including the NVA of the GDR. Comprised of two tracked half‑vehicles that couple together to form a floating platform, it transported heavy combat vehicles across rivers and water obstacles. Designed with foldable loading ramps and foam‑filled pontoons, it offered reliable pivotal support for mechanized units.
