This 1:160 N Scale model portrays the Mercedes‑Benz T2 508D light commercial vehicle, widely used in Germany by fire brigades (Feuerwehr) and the Technisches Hilfswerk (THW). Built between 1967 and 1996, the T2 became known as the “Düsseldorf Transporter” and served roles ranging from fire truck and ambulance to support vehicle. It offered a versatile chassis available in panel van, truck, and minibus variants, powered by reliable diesel engines like the OM 314 (~85 hp) and later OM 364 (~105‑136 hp).
