(TT) Barkas B1000, Recovery Vehicle

This 1:120 TT scale model represents the Barkas B1000 recovery vehicle in its civilian breakdown and car transport configuration. Based on the well-known Barkas B1000, this vehicle was introduced in the 1960s and widely used throughout the DDR for roadside assistance, workshop services, and vehicle recovery operations. Equipped with a fixed transport platform, it was designed to carry broken-down passenger cars and light vehicles safely and efficiently. The Barkas B1000 recovery vehicle was a familiar sight on East German roads for decades.
